Here is where it began.

Exactly 5 years ago today, April 1st 2007 (my 19th birthday), my Shane took me to the 1st Sunday session of General Conference.  After the session was over we walked over to take pictures in front of the temple.  We handed our camera over to a young couple, and went to 'pose' for the picture.  As we approached our spot, Shane gently knelt on one knee.  I will never forget the way his eyes shone as he asked to have my hand for eternity.

How blessed I am to have Shane.
Oh how much I love and adore him!
How grateful I am that we chose on forever.

I remember that day sooo well. I was in on the secret so of course I had a little harder time concentrating on conference when there was an engagement in the air! Then I wanted to get a great candid shot when you got home and you two were coming up our sidewalk and i kept on turning the camera off. I mean, figure out the button you pushed last time when it turned off. So lame. By now Shane is stressed about getting to his own home so the not so candid shots were REALLY not working now, Oh well. we got all kind of great shots of the gorgeous couple that married almost 5 years ago. Where did the time go? You two are amazingly wonderful together though, Maybe it was all those pictures I was trying to get of you that helped. You had to learn patience, and patience is a great virtue at the beginning at a marriage. Don't you agree? I'm dead sure I helped with that. :) You can call me Mrs. Rattle if you'd like. Signing off from a darling post. It's about time...
I love you Kenz,
Mom
